The Idea
Plants are not only visual elements. They are living systems that grow, exchange gases, create biomass, interact with water and light, and change the character of a space.
Project Oxygen explores how fast-growing trees and other plants can become a managed service for homes, workplaces and land — from sapling to installation, long-term care, pruning and eventually environmental monitoring.
Two Ways to Begin

Start with a young tree grown by NestB and continue its development in your own garden, land or suitable growing environment.

Path 02 · Managed Living System
For clients who want the living system without having to manage the biology themselves. NestB assesses the site, proposes the right configuration, installs the system and maintains it.

Oxygen as a Service
The long-term business model is not simply to sell a tree. NestB can remain responsible for keeping the living installation healthy and appropriate for the space.
Light, available volume, access to water, temperature, intended use and growth space.
Outdoor planting where the tree can mature, or a controlled indoor pilot using suitable containers, pruning and environmental support.
NestB supplies the plant, installs it and establishes the initial care routine.
Regular checks, pruning, nutrition, plant health management and replacement or relocation when required.
Indoor Exploration
Potentially — but this should be treated as a controlled horticultural application, not as a promise that a fast-growing Paulownia can remain indefinitely in every office.
NestB is exploring whether young trees can be maintained indoors for defined periods through strong light, sufficient root volume, controlled nutrition and deliberate pruning, with relocation or rotation when the tree outgrows the space.
Current direction
Indoor OxyTree should initially be offered as an assessed pilot / managed installation. Mature outdoor planting remains the more natural long-term destination for the tree.
NestB Oxygen Lab
The current young OxyTrees growing in the NestB hydroponic tent can become the beginning of the Project Oxygen research base.
Growth rate, water use, light, pruning response, root development and environmental conditions can be documented before the service is scaled. Later, room-level measurements can be added.

Long-Term Direction
The OxyTree is one entry point into a larger NestB idea: spaces where plants are treated as functional living infrastructure rather than decoration.
This can later connect with hydroponic food production, living walls, indoor oxygen-supporting plant systems, regenerative land and agroforestry — creating one continuous path from home and office to landscape.
